Ralph Walker is a strategic advisor and fractional growth architect working with founder-led and investor-backed businesses to unlock growth that already exists inside the organisation but isn't being captured.
Most founders present with a marketing or sales problem. The actual problem is almost always structural. The commercial model, the entry point, or the way value is packaged and delivered is misaligned. Fixing the surface symptom doesn't fix the underlying constraint.
The work is practical and implementation-oriented — spanning demand generation, sales process, CRM and workflow design, referral ecosystems, and organisational design. Strategy gets built into working prototypes, not handed over as reports.
HOW THIS WORKS IN PRACTICE
A travel business was spending significantly on paid search with no measurable return. Not a single lead had converted to a deposit. All paid search was turned off. Revenue went up. The real growth engine — referrals and luxury travel partnerships — had been underserved while sales energy was consumed by low-quality inbound volume.
A water drilling company drilled, capped, and left. The business was redesigned into a full water solutions service — site location, drilling, pump installation, irrigation, filtration and water testing. A commodity trade became an outcome-based solutions business with multiple revenue layers.
A manufacturer focused entirely on complex custom projects was invisible to the maintenance market. A separate ecommerce layer for standard stocked items created a new revenue stream and fed directly into the bespoke project work the business had been pursuing directly.
